Cross-Browser Testing in HP Unified Functional Testing using Google Chrome

Testing in Chrome: So far UFT 12.51 supports Chrome Version 51.0.2704.106 m (Latest Chrome Browser). However to enable object Identification, you will have to enable HP Functional Testing Agent in the Browser.

Steps to Enable “HP Functional Testing Agent” in Chrome:
1. Click on The icon shown in the screenshot:

2. Click on Extensions as shown in the following Screenshot

3. Check the Developer Mode CheckBox

4. It will bring some extra controls in the screen. Click on Load unpacked extension

5. It will take you to the Browse Folder option. Browse navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Unified Functional Testing\Installations\Chrome and Click once on Extension Folder and then Click OK Button as shown below:

6. The following HP functional Testing Agent will be appeared in the page:

7. Select Enable CheckBox and Restart your Browser. Now you will be able to identify Objects in Chrome Browser

8. Now You will see the following icon in your Browser and you will be able to identify objects in Chrome Browser as shown below:
